Here at Field Agent we LOVE new stores! We try to get out to them as soon as they open and share what we see with you!
On August 17, 2023 a new, 25,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Co-op Food Store opened in Melfort, Saskatchewan. The previous location in the Melfort Mall served the area for 40 years.
Shoppers will find new additions such as a soup and curry bar, caramel and cheddar popcorn made in-house, and all electronic tags for products.The store is also energy efficient by using LED bulbs and door coolers to save on cooling power.
We just had to see it, so we sent two Field Agents to give us a virtual tour. We also asked them to give us their view as a local on this new location and what they really liked (or disliked). Our tour takes you right to the shopper as they explore. See all the photos below!
