Member Feedback – Costco Self Checkout – Langford, BC

Recently, Costco installed Self Checkout lanes in its store in Langford, BC which is located just outside of Victoria.

This is not the first time that Costco has tested self-checkout including when it pulled self-checkouts from US stores back in 2013.

Recently Costco has also been testing self-checkout at its food courts in four US stores.

We sent an Agent to the Langford store to test drive the Canadian self-checkout system and see how it compares to the normal Costco checkout process and also how is stacked up against self-checkout systems at other retailers.
