Here at Field Agent we LOVE new stores and restaurants! We try to get out to them as soon as they open and share what we see with you!
On October 8, 2026 a new Food Basics opened at 20 Church Street in North York. The 30,000 square foot store brings another convenient grocery option to the neighbourhood with a focus on affordable prices and everyday savings.
The location also has a pharmacy, which offers a wide variety of professional services such as vaccinations, personalized medication reviews, minor ailment assessments, and more.
We just had to see it, so we sent three local agents to give us a virtual tour. We also asked them to give us their view as a local on this new location and what they really liked (or disliked). Our tour takes you right to the shopper as they explore. See all the photos below!
