Here at Field Agent we LOVE new stores! We try to get out to them as soon as they open and share what we see with you!
In early 2022 Best Buy opened a new, smaller format store at the Sherwood Park Mall just outside of Edmonton, Alberta. This new store is only 7,700 square feet of space.
More than half of the store is allocated to warehouse space for inventory and the rest of the store showcases a traditional retail experience where there’s product on the display. There is one central counter so that customers don’t have to navigate through the store to find services. They are encouraged to go straight to the counter where a store associate will guide them to the product(s) that they are looking for.
We sent three Field Agents to the store to give us a virtual store tour and we also asked them to give us their view as local shoppers on this new store and what they really liked (or disliked). Our store tour takes you right to the shopper as they explore the store. See all the photos below!
