Taco Bell officially opened their doors in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, in December 2025. The restaurant drew such long traffic lines upon its opening that it prompted the City of Mount Pearl to issue a traffic notice for the area.
Franchise owner Kiran Heladiya spoke to CBC News and stated that the store served almost 700 people on opening day. The following day was no different, and the drive-thru line was full before the restaurant even opened.
