Here at Field Agent we LOVE new stores! We try to get out to them as soon as they open and share what we see with you!
On April 29 Sobeys opened a brand new location in Calgary, and it's the first of its kind.
Customers at this new prototype location can expect fresh artisan baked goods, a full-service meat and seafood department, 58-day sterling silver dry-aged beef, an in-store pharmacy, and floral, deli, and kitchen offerings.
Sobeys Legacy also has a wide variety of local offerings. Some local brands offered at the new location include Twigz Pretzels, Big Chief Beef Jerky, and A Fine Balance Foods Samosa Chips. Ambient pizza and Bento sushi with a poke bar round out their fresh food offerings.
We sent three Field Agents to the store to give us a virtual store tour and we also asked them to give us their view as local shoppers on this new store and what they really liked (or disliked). Our store tour takes you right to the shopper as they explore the store. See all the photos below!
