The New Jersey-based superfruit bowl chain opened its first location in Canada at The Well, an indoor-outdoor mixed-use development in Downtown Toronto. Eat Up Canada plans to develop more than 160 Playa Bowls locations across Canada, with a goal of 20 new locations in the first quarter.
Founded in 2014, Playa Bowls operates nearly 400 shops in 30 states. Their menu includes over 40 items, including acai, pitaya, green and coconut bowls alongside oatmeal bowls, juices, smoothies and cold brew.
We just had to see it, so we sent three local agents to give us a virtual tour. We also asked them to give us their view as a local on this new location and what they really liked (or disliked). Our tour takes you right to the shopper as they explore. See all the photos below!
