On June 2, Princess Auto celebrated the grand opening of their new Winnipeg location at 500 Panet Road with their traditional chain cutting ceremony. The 105,000-square foot store is the biggest of Princess Auto's 59 stores across the country.
The design moves away from a standard retail layout and is instead focused on creating a unique environment and expanded assortment for DIY customers. One example of this? In the shop, people can use Princess Auto's tools to build their projects if they don't have them at home.
The company plans to take lessons from this "evolved retail model" and use them in stores in across Canada.
