On October 30, Food World Plus opened its massive 176,000 square foot location at 50 Matheson Blvd. East, the former Highland Farms site. Their website calls it the largest global grocery store in the GTA.
With 12 departments, Food World Plus puts global flavours front and centre. Its selection spans the Mediterranean, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South Asia, bringing products and ingredients from around the world under one roof.
And there’s more than international groceries to explore. A flower section, bakery, deli, fresh meat department and in-house butcher round out the offering as Food World Plus aims to become a one-stop shopping destination.
