The Big Game

The Superbowl isn’t just about football,  it’s one of the biggest stay-in events of the year. The stats relased this morning show millions tuning in, not just for the touchdowns but for the halftime show, ads, and the best part - the snacks!

To get a better sense of how Canadians planned to spend game day, we surveyed households across the country to see who was watching, how many people were tuning in together, and what snacks and drinks were making it onto the menu.

According to our survey, 70% of Canadian households said they’d be watching the Big Game, and most expect multiple mouths to feed. With an average of 4 people per household planning to watch together.

When it comes to food and drinks, Canadians stick to tried-and-true game-day favourites. Salty snacks, finger foods, soft drinks, and beer dominated the lineup, highlighting just how important easy, shareable options are on Super Bowl Sunday.

Dive into the graphic below to see exactly what Canadians said they’d be serving and sipping during the Big Game.
